North Atwater Crossing Project

An Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) is available for review for the for the proposed North Atwater Crossing project. The project involves the construction of a multi-modal, cable-stay bridge over the Los Angeles River to facilitate crossings for bicycles, pedestrians and equestrians. The bridge would be approximately 325 feet long, crossing over the River and include support columns in two locations within the River. Although the proposed project could have a significant effect on biological resources, hydrology and water quality, noise and traffic, there would not be a significant effect as a result of the implementation of the identified mitigation measures.
