The City Engineer is reviewing the Coastal Development Permit (CDP) Application No. CDP-26-002-BE for the Project. Under the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC Chapter 1A, Division 13B.9) and California Coastal Act procedures, the City Engineer serves as the permit-granting authority and initial decision-maker for local CDPs involving Public Projects within the City of Los Angeles. The Project is within the single permit jurisdiction and the dual permit jurisdiction areas of the Coastal Zone and will require both City Engineer and Coastal Commission determinations. As part of the CDP application review process, the City Engineer holds a required public hearing for public project CDPs to receive and evaluate public and stakeholder testimony.
Hearing Information
A virtual public hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 beginning at 6:00 PM and via Zoom webinar. The purpose of the CDP hearing is to solicit input regarding the CDP application for the Project and to take formal testimony from the community regarding issues pertaining to policies of the California Coastal Act.
