The SLRCMP is an exciting opportunity for the community to help guide the repurposing of the reservoir complex and surrounding site as we seek to protect its unique character, while envisioning a community gathering space that blends urban wilderness with recreational spaces. The Master Plan will guide improvements and protection of the reservoirs, and seek to balance its historic character, its use as a community gathering place, its strategic location within the Silver Lake community, and its unique blend of both functional and recreational spaces.
The Master Planning process was led by Engineering, with the support of Council Districts 13 and 4, and in coordination with LADWP.
