October 1, 2025 -- The City of Los Angeles broke ground on the historic, $2.6 billion Los Angeles Convention Center Expansion and Modernization Project.
March 2028 -- The City of Los Angeles will turn the LA Convention Center over to LA28 for the Summer Olympics.
2029 -- The project will be completed.
